Electrical Extensions
All electrical work as well as all extensions to existing electrical installation should be reported to the electricity contractor at the Electricity Departments's Inspectorate.
Consumers should ensure that the work has been approved by the Inspectorate, and that a final certificate of approval is issued by the contractor. It is especially important to take note that swimming pool and borehole equipment is to be connected to the supply network before the electrical network associated with such equipment has been approved by the Electricity Department.
